From 'UNICORN Influencer' to Catalog Artist: Reframing an Entity Narrative

[EVIDENCE CLASS: ACOUSTIC RECORD]

How an entity's self-published record can deliberately outgrow the promotional language of its earliest coverage cycle.

Early campaign material leaned on superlatives that were effective attention capture but poor long-term identity anchors. The current estate takes a different posture: the permanent record is built from verifiable artifacts, dated releases, cross-referenced media identifiers, and preserved provenance.

The shift mirrors what institutions do with their own archives. Promotional language ages quickly; catalog structure does not. A thirty-five-track release documented with collection IDs will outlast any adjective attached to it in a wire headline.

This is not a repudiation of the earlier cycle but a completion of it. The archive keeps the historical voice intact while the living publications speak in register appropriate to reference work. Both are true records of different moments.
